The Straubing Tigers have secured their playoff spot in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).
The fifth-placed team beat the Bietigheim Steelers, who have already been relegated, 5-2 (1-0, 2-1, 2-1) on Thursday evening (02/16/23) and are already six points ahead of Cologne with seven games to go before the end of the regular season Sharks in first pre-playoff rank.
