Vocalist Paula Koivuniemi a musical about his wonderful entertainment career will be seen next fall at Rauma’s theater. It was written by the director of the musical Otto Kanerva together Kaisa Kuikkaniemi and Esa Nieminen with. Nieminen asked for and got permission for the musical and its story from Koivuniemi himself.
There are three male roles in the musical. Both of Paula Koivuniemi’s husbands and a great love are included Ilkka Kanerva. Kanerva and Koivuniemi were the country’s most visible couples at the end of the 1980s and they appeared together at, among other things, Linna’s parties.

– I haven’t heard anything about this Rauma musical. As Ilkka’s closest relative, I would have hoped that I would have been contacted if one day Ilkka performs in a musical, Elina Kanerva regrets.
Ilkka and Elina started dating in 1999. After a long courtship, they got married in 2019.
