“I never said bastards!”

Gerard Joling denies calling the bobos of radio stations ‘bastards’ during an interview with the Party. “I have never used that word,” said the RTL 4 presenter.

It bothers Gerard Joling terribly that his songs are played so little on the radio. He thinks his own music is very good and just says that those records airplay earn on channels like 100%NL. It stings him that such a station thinks otherwise. “It’s about a few bastards who arrange that”, he recently snorted in the Party.

Gerard moves in

To call the people who are responsible for the musical programming as bastards is of course very clumsy. After all, such a personal insult does not contribute to his desire to be played a little more on the radio.

It seems that Gerard regrets his statements, because he now half withdraws his shit by claiming that he never called those people ‘bastards’. And with that he kicks the Party in the shins again, because if he didn’t say that, then the journalist of that tabloid must have made it up. Also a harsh accusation.

“Didn’t say it!”

Gerard was in the broadcast of yesterday RTL Boulevard. Reporter Aran Bade visited him during the recording of the clip of his new song. “Will this also be played, do you think?”

To that the singer says: “There was an interview that I said about 100% that they were bastards. Well, I have never used the word ‘assholes’, but it is of course scandalous if you are called 100% NL and that you simply do not run a lot of national product.”

So much budget

It will not be because of Gerard’s ambition. Aran is amazed at how he turns out with his music video. “I hardly know anyone who throws that much budget at it.”

Gerard: “Fortunately, I have the finances in-house, so I make something of it.”

Aran: “You have deep pockets?”

Gerard: “Certainly, and they are well filled. Hahaha.”
