Dennis Schouten published a book about his death wish at the beginning of last year, but he no longer has that death wish. Was it purely about the money? “I have earned that much.”
At the beginning of last year it immediately caused suspicion: the book that Dennis Schouten had published in which he extensively told about his death wish. Not everyone believed it; Critics mainly saw it as an attempt to rake money in with such a book. However, he himself immediately denied that it would be a kind of publicity stunt.
Wish wish
Now, a year later, Dennis’s death wish appears to have disappeared again. “Something very annoying happened last September – in the private sphere, with myself. What that is, I don’t want to share now. I have been crying in my bed for a week. I then decided to open myself more and to talk to people,” he recently said.
That makes him feel better; He doesn’t want to die anymore either. “And I do everything to keep it that way. It has nothing to do with the book that I am doing better now, but with that incident. Sometimes things have to go very badly to be able to open you to talk and gain insights.”
How much earned?
The big question is: did Dennis just run ordinary raking with that story about that death wish? How much did he earn that book?
Dennis reveals Instagram: “Many questions and comments about the merits of the book. After a good presale, publisher and writer Andries Jelle de Jong decided to order 10,000 books without consultation.
