At the Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel, a chilled beer for many festival goers is one of the essentials of the weekend. Especially with the announced summer temperatures, the desire for cold drinks quickly increases. However, permanent cooling is hard to implement on the powerless campsites. An already known service is to be remedied, which will be reintroduced at the Hurricane Festival this year.
Cold beer to pre -order
Cooled beer can now be pre -ordered stress -free at the Hurricane Festival via the official ticket shop and can then be picked up on site. The organizers explain: “No bit on towing? No problem! The Beck’s pre-order at the Hurricane is back! Order the beer in a relaxed manner and pick it up at the festival shop right on site-cold, ready and without stress.”
According to the festival manager Inga Rossbach, the service returns after a break of several years: “For the first time in some time, there is again the opportunity to pre -order chilled beer.” The offer will be supplemented for the first time this year by fresh croissants.
This is how the service works
Beck’s, Beck’s Green Lemon, Corona and Spaden are available. The order takes place via the “Extras” tab in the menu of the ticket shop. After selecting variety and quantity, the shipping method “Digital Ticket/Print @Home” is selected at the checkout. Confirmation by email then serves as a pick-up note. The output takes place on the new festival späti.
A Beck’s range costs 37.20 euros plus 6 euros. The Corona doses (0.33 liters) are a little more expensive at 42 euros per palette. Here, too, there are 6 euro deposit.
The reactions to the beer service at the Hurricane Festival are mixed on social media. While some criticize the prices, others praise the convenience and cooling.
Sufficient fluid intake is particularly important in view of the summer temperatures and possible extreme weather locations registered by the German Weather Service and possible extreme weather conditions during the festival weekend.
