Hurrah! The catering business and the terrace at the Balijhoeve are open

After the renovation of Stadsboerderij de Balijhoeve, there was no catering in the building for a long time. That has now changed: from now on we can enjoy a snack and a drink on the terrace in addition to visiting the cows, pigs and chickens.

Restaurant De Libelle is managed during the week by Gemiva, who work with employees with a distance to the labor market.

From De Weidemolen to De Balijhoeve

The employees of Gemiva have already gained the necessary catering experience: they first had a catering location at Stadsboerderij De Weidemolen in Oosterheem. You can visit Restaurant De Libelle from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. The farm shop is open at weekends where you can order coffee, tea, biscuits, chips and ice cream.

On the menu

For small prices you can enjoy various snacks and drinks at De Libelle both inside and outside on the terrace. The employees serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple pie, cake, butter cake and other sweets. But also savory dishes such as pancakes, sandwiches, sandwiches and soup. Visit the farm animals and then order a nice drink and matching snack.
