Market value more than quadrupled

Hugo Larsson will not be available to Eintracht Frankfurt for the time being. The 21-year-old midfielder has suffered a muscle injury in his thigh and will be out until further notice. Exactly how long the Swede will be absent from the SGE is not clear from the Bundesliga club’s statement.

Larsson moved from Malmö FF to Eintracht in 2023 for 9 million euros and has since increased his market value from 9 million to 40 million euros – meaning the right-footed player has more than quadrupled his valuation. In the current season, the twelve-time Swedish national player made 14 appearances and three assists (no goals) across all competitions for Frankfurt.

Larsson sustained the muscle injury in his national team’s quarters in Marbella, Spain, which is why he will also miss the World Cup qualifying games in Switzerland (November 15th) and against Slovenia (November 18th).
