Huge explosion on screen, who placed explosive at nightclub?

A huge bang sounded on the Pieter Vreedeplein in Tilburg on the night of November 14. The cause turned out to be an explosive, which exploded near the facade of the Oxy nightclub. Images in Bureau Brabant now show how a man placed the explosive. The police are also looking for three men who previously passed by the building.

The explosion took place at a quarter to five that night. It turned out not to be just any fireworks. The facade of the club was severely damaged by the huge explosion.

In Bureau Brabant on Monday evening you can see how the man arrives from Veemarktstraat. He walks via the Heuvelring to the Pieter Vreedeplein. He places the explosive in the corner of the building, there is a long wire on it that he rolls out to a distance. And then suddenly there is an explosion. The perpetrator then runs down the street.

Miraculously, no one was injured in the explosion. But a few minutes before the explosion, three men walked by. The police are looking for these people, they want to know whether they saw anything there that could be important for the investigation.

The perpetrator left behind the wire that detonated the explosive. That find is also still being investigated. The club temporarily closed its doors on its own initiative after the incident.
