How Olympus wants to reach a younger target group with rapper Bausa

Olymp and rapper Bausa, both from Bietigheim in the Ludwigsburg district, have entered into a collaboration. The clothing maker has designed a three-piece capsule collection with the musician, consisting of a hoodie, an overshirt and a t-shirt, Olymp announced on Wednesday.

The first drop will take place in October, initially offering one of the three products for sale. The parts will be available in the Olymp online shop. Bausa had his breakthrough in 2017 with the song ‘What you love called’, which stayed at number one in the singles chart for nine weeks.

“Bausa, Bezner, Bietigheim. The alliteration alone fits like a glove, making the Bausa x Olymp collection an obvious choice. Baui is a guy who knows exactly what he wants and doesn’t want. With this ambition, he was intensively involved in the development of our first joint capsule collection and actively participated in its creation,” says Mark Bezner, Managing Partner of Olymp Bezner KG.

With the collaboration, Olymp “deliberately sets itself apart from its traditional core range”. The company, which is best known for a wide and deep selection of shirts, is aiming to appeal to a younger target group and hopes to be able to inspire the newly acquired customers for the other products as well.

There will already be a “foretaste” at the Ljubax x Powerbausa Festival in Bietigheim on June 25th. Visitors to the festival can buy a ‘fan shirt’ on site that advertises the collaboration and has the coordinates of the festival on it. The T-shirt, which is made from 100 percent cotton, costs 49.95 euros.
