The house of a 90-year-old resident on the Creijenhoek in Rosmalen was smeared on Sunday with Ketchup. Fireworks were also thrown through the letterbox. “The curtains are scorched, this could have ended very differently. We are furious,” responds daughter Caroline Voets.
“We know very precisely when it should have happened by chance,” says the 60-year-old daughter. “The neighbor went out at half past four in the afternoon. Then there was nothing wrong. Just before five my brother brought my mother back home and then it was wrong.”
Why
“We are now with so many questions,” Caroline continues. “Why did this happen, why with my ninety -year -old mother? But she’s fighting with no one. We don’t get it.”
What Caroline is most angry about is the fireworks. “The curtains are scorched, but did not caught a flame. This could have ended differently. And my mother is single and afraid of burglars and scammers, now she has a fear of destruction.”

In the neighborhood, two boys of the age of 16 were seen on the bike that afternoon who explicitly looked inside at Huizen. “Maybe it was a bad boy’s region,” says Caroline “But then they have no idea what they are doing.”
A report was made to the police. According to Caroline, they take on the business, especially due to the fireworks that has been thrown in. In addition, they are going to surveillance in the neighborhood more often.
