The 2024/25 biathlon season was a successful for Selina Grotian. The German ski hunter already feels anticipation for the coming winter.
It was “all in all an incredible season” for her, Selina Grotian looked back on the past biathlon winter in a contribution on Instagram.
“9th place in the overall World Cup, a bronze medal at the World Cup and my first individual victory in the World Cup. That motivates me for more, and I will attack again next season,” said the 21-year-old.
“Many thanks to the entire team and to all my partners, without whom these services would not be possible,” she also wrote.
Grotian only completed her second season in the Biathlon World Cup. The native Garmisch-Partenkirchener made the leap among the ten best ski hunters in the world.
First individual win in the Biathlon World Cup
Grotian reached a milestone in her young career shortly before Christmas when she won the mass start of Annecy in front of her teammate Franziska Preuss. At the World Cup in Lenzerheide, Grotian won the bronze medal with the mixed relay.
