Hiltl complements dual leadership

The new dual leadership of the trousers specialist Hiltl is in place. In spring 2024, Thorsten Grönlund will become part of the management of the company based in Sulzbach-Rosenberg.

As managing director, Grönlund will be responsible for the areas of product, sales, design, marketing and procurement, Hiltl, which is backed by the shareholder Lorea AG, announced on Tuesday. He runs the company with Roland Strauss, who focuses on finance, human resources, logistics and organization.

Grönlund was previously responsible for the Carl Gross brand at Création Gross in Hersbruck. Further stops included the fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg and the clothing suppliers Mustang and Esprit. He also held senior positions at the S.Oliver and Cecil brands.

“With Thorsten Grönlund we were able to gain an experienced and very successful manager for Hiltl,” said Strauss, who has been part of the management since the beginning of August. “We are pleased to have Mr. Grönlund on board the Hiltl team.”

The two managing directors succeed Gerhard Kränzle, whose departure from the trousers specialist was announced at the end of August.
