Highlight Festival Ypres opens an extra day for its fifth anniversary

Highlight Festival switches from one stage with a deejay on Friday evening to five stages where the dancers can let off steam on Saturday afternoon and evening. The music lovers from the region are very pleased with the festival, which is only five years old. The organization also tries to keep prices within limits for them. Although a beer on the Ypres meadow only cost one and a half euros in 2018, the price of three euros is still not too bad compared to other festivals.

The festival looks soberly to the future. “We look at it year by year,” said organizer Lennert Vintevogel. “We don’t have a crystal ball, but we have healthy ambitions to take a step up every year.”
