Hertha BSC has given talent Tim Hoffmann a professional contract from the summer. As the second division club announced, the agreement with the 18-year-old central defender is valid until 2026 and was made some time ago. Hoffmann is currently active in the Old Lady’s U19 team, but made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga a few days ago when he came on as a substitute in the 67th minute in the 2-1 win at Greuther Fürth.

“We are pleased that Tim will be continuing his sporting path as a professional with us from the summer. He has shown his talent and potential for a long time and we are very excited about his further development,” explained sports director Benjamin Weber. Hoffmann added: “The professional contract with Hertha BSC is a dream come true for me. I am proud to be able to play for my club as a Berlin boy and want to develop step by step in the coming years.”
