Hertha BSC has agreed on a professional contract with midfield talent Dion Ajvazi. The 21-year-old was once part of the Berlin squad in the 2nd Bundesliga in the past season (1-2 in Fürth), now the Albanian born in the German capital is bound to the old lady until 2027.
“Dion was an absolute top performer of our U23 last season. Now it is important to help him in the next step in his development,” said Hertha’s sports director Benjamin Weber. Ajvazi had scored four goals in 30 regional league games and prepared nine. He was the best preparer in the Hertha reserve. The young professional said: “I am overjoyed and thank those responsible for the trust! For me, the contract is a great drive for me to continue to punch everything out for Hertha in the future.”
