A deer has put itself in trouble tonight in the Hoogeveense Vaart in Hoogeveen. The animal ended up in the water and then did not get out of it.
The alarmed fire brigade managed to get the deer on dry land, although that was not a simple job. The animal always swam away, but in the end the firefighters got a grip on the deer.
The fire brigade takes the deer to a forest nearby.
