The Wallander series continues.
Kurt Wallander will be played by Gustaf Skarsgård in the future.
The popular Wallander movie series will continue. However, the main actor of Commissioner Kurt Wallander changes, so Krister Henriksson is no longer seen in the film series.
The new Wallander is the famous actress family of Skarsgård Gustaf Skarsgård44.
“It is an honor, and the great responsibility, to play such a character that so many have been doing,” says Skarsgård in a press release.
Three new Wallander movies are coming. They are based on Wallander Creator Henning Mankell in the books Behind a step behind, Off base and Faceless death.
Henriksson, 78, played Wallander in 32 films.
Wallander writer Mankell died in cancer in October 2015. They decided Wallander to get sick of Alzheimer and no more films would be made.
