The Qmusic Top 40 Awards were presented in Ahoy Rotterdam on Friday evening. Antoon received the prize for Best Artist and the award for Biggest Hit of the past year went to Flemming met Automatically.
He was presented with the prize by Qmusic DJs Mattie Valk and Marieke Elsinga. Presenter Domien Verschuuren was also able to immediately announce that the Qmusic Top 40 Awards will return next year in Rotterdam Ahoy.
The Hague band Son Mieux received the award for Best Newcomer. According to the organization, this year’s public awards were ‘voted en masse’ and these went to Suzan & Freek for Best Live Act and to Kris Kross Amsterdam for Best DJ Act.
Internationally, Harry Styles, David Guetta, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Rosa Linn received awards. With the exception of the audience awards, all awards are presented based on the success of the songs and artists in the Top 40.

During the live show, which lasted more than two hours, there were performances by Becky Hill, Duncan Laurence and Suzan & Freek. Armin van Buuren opened the show together with Davina Michelle. Kris Kross Amsterdam closed the show with a medley full of guest appearances from Tino Martin, Donnie, Roxeanne Hazes, Conor Maynard, Zoë Tauran and Sigourney K.
Next year, on Saturday 3 February 2024, the Qmusic Top 40 Awards will return to Rotterdam Ahoy. Tickets are now available on Qmusic.nl.
