Heracles hopes to quickly complete the arrival of the current technical director of the Australian Adelaide United, sources around Heracles confirm after reports from RTV East.
After the dismissal of Bas Sibum, Heracles had been looking for a successor for some time and was previously rejected by Kees van Wonderen, Joseph Oosting and Alex Pastoor. Faber was previously head coach at FC Eindhoven, FC Groningen and NEC.

Sibum’s dismissal had an immediate effect at Heracles. Under the leadership of assistant coaches Hendrie Krüzen and Peter Reekers, Heracles has won the past four matches (including one cup match), leaving the Almelo team in last place in the Eredivisie. Krüzen and Reekers will work as assistants with the new head coach.
