Henry Manni qualified from the World Championship final

Wheelchair winder Henry Manni narrowly qualified for the final of the 400-meter track relay at the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris.

In his own start, Manni finished fifth with a time of 51.77, which is his best result of the season. The last bowler to reach the final was from China Yang Wangwho beat Mann by only 31 hundredths.

of Thailand Chaiwat Rattana was the fastest of the heats with a time of 49.00.

A total of eight athletes made it to the finals. Three winders from both starts, and two winders based on time. Manni did not make it directly to the final due to his own start, and he had the third best time in the time comparison. Thus, the place in the final was not redeemed.

Manni competes in the T34 category of the 400-meter wheelchair relay. The final will be contested tomorrow at 20:20.
