Henny Huisman used to be a well-known TV presenter, but nowadays he is mainly known for the bashing of TV stars. Recently it was also Winston Gerschtanowitz’s turn. “That’s a real cock, such a little man”, he snorted two months ago. “I don’t believe what he says and does there. It is not real.”

Golden spoon

Does Henny regret that now? No, he says in the Weekend. “No never. I always mean it. I’ve said I think Winston Gerschtanowitz is a poop and I still do. That statement did not just come out of the blue, by the way. At the time, I was asked for my opinion on the Postcode Lottery, where I worked for eighteen years.”

That is why he let his light shine on it, says Henny. “Gaston Starreveld is a working-class boy, I think he is very suitable for that program. Winston isn’t, so he can’t convince me. He’s a rich kid, a boy born with a golden spoon in his mouth.”

Bad figurehead

It is precisely because of that golden spoon that Winston is a bad figurehead for the lottery, thinks Henny. “That’s fine, he can’t help it, but that doesn’t make him the type who will persuade someone from three high up to participate in the Postcode Lottery. I therefore find him unsuitable for that job.”

And the criticism of Gordon? Henny doesn’t pull that back either. “Gordon is a great talent and you can laugh a lot with him, but he better not show everyone that he is flying to Dubai in a first class bed. Because of such behavior, people turn against you en masse.”
