ROLLING STONE reported in 2017:
Noel Gallagher, who recently gave an acclaimed concert in Berlin, will probably no longer be a fan of German music. Finally, when he made fun of the idea that there are also rap musicians in this country, he lost in one Interview with “Welt” now the version.
The editors played the Brit a German song – “Atemlos” by Helene Fischer. Before that, they compared Oasis’ success in the ’90s to Fischer’s popularity today.

“Who is that supposed to be?” asked Gallagher. “It’s best to listen for yourself,” replied the “Welt”.
Gallagher’s reaction:
“This is terrible! God, can we please work this out? This is exactly the pop music I’m talking about. It threatens the entire world today. This is music that means absolutely nothing anymore. Or even worse: This isn’t even music. Is that supposed to be the big thing in Germany? Unbelievable! But you always have to look closely at who writes such songs. It definitely wasn’t this Helene Fischer. They were a bunch of guys my age who were too fat to be rock stars, bald, and wrote shit songs. This song will make someone a lot of money. It makes me very, very sad.”
Noel Gallagher currently:
Noel Gallagher would give anything to play in a supergroup with the surviving members of The Beatles. The former Oasis lead guitarist and singer said this in an interview with the Mirror.
In the interview, Gallagher references the Beatles’ influence on his music, saying that the legendary band “means everything to me.” In the past he had the honor of working with one of the remaining Beatles members.
In 1995, Gallagher recorded a cover version of the Beatles classic “Come Together” with Paul McCartney and Paul Weller. The British musician also teamed up with Paul McCartney for a duet at Stella McCartney’s 50th birthday in 2021.
Gallagher has now been removed from Mirror was quoted as saying that he would “definitely join a supergroup” with McCartney and Ringo Starr. The musicians Paul Weller and Johnny Marr are also at the top of his wish list.
“I don’t know if I would start one,” he explained. “Who would I like to be in a supergroup with? I could be in a band with Weller and I could be in a band with Johnny, easy as day.” Gallagher added: “Playing bass…Ringo and Macca would be bloody great.”
“Imagine being in a band with Ringo and Macca. Who is singing there? Everyone. I would pay a hell of a lot to be there. Get me [den Promoter] Harvey Goldsmith.”
Adele’s songs are “shit”
When asked if he ever talked to any of the members of the Beatles about songwriting, he replied: “No, I don’t really talk to other songwriters about songwriting, because what would you say?” I just think everyone is equal, some people are just more talented than others.”
Noel Gallagher, the former singer and lead guitarist of Britpop band Oasis, is known for his direct style. In a recent interview with podcaster Matt Morgan, he revealed how he feels about Adele’s music.
In the interview, Gallagher said Adele’s songs were “shit” and compared the singer to pop singer Cilla Black, who died in 2015. He also finds their entire discography “pretty offensive.”
The comment came during an appearance on a podcast hosted by Matt Morgan when the musician was asked if he was a fan of Adele’s chart hits. The High Flying Birds singer didn’t mince his words.
“Fuck the fuck off. “Name me one?” he replied. “They fucking suck. It’s fucking awful. That’s fucking Cilla Black. I find it and the whole thing offensive.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Noel Gallagher confirmed that he would be open to working with the singer in the future and that he could see himself writing songs for her when he retires from live performances. This was reported by the British magazine “The Mirror.”
“Music for Grandmothers”
“If I lose the love of touring, I could see myself just sitting at home and writing songs and sending them to my publishers,” he said. “I might do that in the future. I’ll say, ‘Get Adele to sing this. “Don’t call until she’s done the lead voice.”
It’s not the first time that the Wonderwall singer has criticized Adele. Seven years ago he said in an interview that he didn’t like her music and that she made “music for grandmothers”.
