HeiQ brings Lenzing manager Robert van de Kerkhof onto the board of directors

The textile technology group HeiQ is bringing additional expertise in the area of ​​sustainability into the company.

On Monday, the company announced that Robert van de Kerkhof will join the boards of directors of the parent company HeiQ Plc and the subsidiary HeiQ AeoniQ Holding AG as a non-executive director on January 1, 2024.

According to the group, Van de Kerkhof has more than 30 years of experience in the textile industry. He has been a member of the board of the Austrian fiber manufacturer Lenzing AG since 2014. There he is currently still responsible for the group’s sustainability projects as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO).

Lenzing had already announced in the spring that van de Kerkhof would not be extending his contract, which runs until the end of the year, and would be leaving the company.
