A major traffic jam has arisen on the A5 towards Amsterdam due to an accident. The left lane was closed, causing a delay of about 45 minutes. The traffic jam has now almost been resolved.
There was a delay of approximately 40 minutes at the De Hoek junction and the Raasdorp junction. Delays also increased to more than half an hour at Amsterdam-Westpoort and the connection with the A10.
Rijkswaterstaat reports that a recovery company has been called to clear the road again.
