Heavy fire in forests near the Klinge under control: “Still here and there”

A heavy fire is raging on Sunday afternoon in the Clingse forests, just across the border with the East Flanders De Klinge. The fire is challenged by both Belgian and Dutch fire brigades. “Here and there there are still fireplaces, but they are also almost under control,” it sounds reassuring at the Waasland fire brigade. Nothing is yet known about the damage and the cause of the fire.
