Four days after their duel for the Supercup in Düsseldorf, German handball champion SC Magdeburg and cup winner THW Kiel start the new Bundesliga season with home games.
On September 4 (2:00 p.m.) the defending champions will welcome league newcomers ASV Hamm-Westfalen, two hours later TVB Stuttgart will be guests of the German record champions in the hall on the Baltic Sea.
The league season will open on September 1 (7:05 p.m.) with four matches. Among other things, there is a northern derby between the former Final Four winners HSV Hamburg and SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
The second climber VfL Gummersbach starts at the same time with an away game at TBV Lemgo Lippe.
