Have you heard it? Nasty tip against Nagelsmann

The national coach wants to watch the top game in the Bundesliga up close. A TV commentator takes a toxic swipe.

The eagerly awaited Bundesliga clash between Bayer Leverkusen and FC Bayern Munich also attracted celebrities in the stands. National coach Julian Nagelsmann wanted to watch the game between the league leaders and the German record champions up close and said this in an interview beforehand (you can read more about it here). And was the target of a strange tip from a TV commentator.

What exactly had happened? Nagelsmann also witnessed how the kick-off of the smash hit in the BayArena had to be postponed by several minutes due to renewed fan protests. Spectators had thrown camels from the stands onto the lawn, which had to be quickly removed. Meanwhile, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel was also shown on live TV on Sky broadcaster – Nagelsmann’s successor on the Munich bench.

And what did Sky commentator Wolff-Christoph Fuss say at exactly that moment, clearly audible to all viewers? The following sentence: “No matter what the outcome: He won’t go on a skiing holiday.”

Nagelsmann was fired just over a year ago

A clear tip against Nagelsmann. As a reminder: After Bayern’s 2-1 defeat in March 2023, Nagelsmann went on a skiing holiday with his partner during an international break – and was surprisingly dismissed by the Bayern management in the meantime. Tuchel followed suit and ultimately led Munich to the championship in the heart-stopping finale on the last matchday of 2022/23.

After all: Nagelsmann himself couldn’t hear the remark. It is not known whether it was brought to his attention in another way.
