Hase/Volodin also win in Osaka

After their dream start, the new figure skating couple Minerva Hase and Nikita Volodin also triumphed at the Grand Prix in Osaka/Japan.

Hase/Volodin won the NHK Trophy with 202.51 points; a week earlier the duo had already celebrated victory at their joint premiere in Espoo, Finland.

Thanks to their success on the sixth station ahead of Lucrezia Beccati/Matteo Guarise (190.31) and Rebecca Ghilardei/Filippo Ambrosini (both Italy/186.47), Hase, who was born in Berlin, and her partner Volodin, who comes from Russia, qualified for the final Grand Prix ​​final in Beijing (December 7th to 10th). In Osaka, the pair had already led after the short program.

In the women’s category, the American Ava Marie Ziegler came out ahead of her teammate Lindsay Thorngren and Nina Pinzarrone from Belgium.

With 200.50 points, Ziegler broke the 200 barrier for the first time.
