Harry Kane from FC Bayern was one of the first congratulators of his ex-club Tottenham Hotspur after winning the Europa League.
Immediately after the 1-0 against Manchester United in the final, the top scorer of the Bundesliga posted a jubilee photo of the Spurs on Instagram with the signature: “Congratulations”.
The English national team captain had been under contract with the London club from 2009 to 2023, but he had never been granted a title.
It was only this season that he was allowed to hold up his first trophy by winning the championship in the Munich jersey. Now Tottenham is also cheering about the first title after 17 years.
