Harry and Meghan have had to shell out security in their own bags since they left the British court and moved to the United States. Arranging security measures has also been an obstacle for the couple to travel.

Harry has said he is willing to pay for police protection himself, but this has not been successful so far. According to Harry, privately acquired security measures in Britain would not be enough for his family, as private security teams do not have access to internal intelligence.
