The London luxury department store Harrod has appointed Geoff Weaver as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The financial expert changes from the travel and tourism company TUI to the traditional house in Knightsbridge. At TUI, Weaver worked in various management positions for a total of fourteen years.
Most recently, he had been the role of the Director of Operational Excellence and Finance at TUI Technology since October 2024. Previously, he was responsible for the areas of Markets & Airlines, TUI Destination Experiences and IT as a financial director.
Weaver announced his new position at Harrods in a post on LinkedIn. There he also mentioned that his wife, Charlotte Weaver – currently Worldwide Controller and Finance Director at the telecommunications company Net2phone – used to work for Harrods.
“A fabulous coincidence could be said that this week I come to Harrods as a CFO,” wrote the designated CFO. “I am very happy to join such an incredible company and such an iconic brand that is filled with such passionate people.”
Weaver takes the position with immediate effect and follows Tim Parker, who has held the office since 2022. Parker resigned from his role as CFO in May. He left the company to “devote himself to other opportunities”.
