Harri Heliövaara and Henry Patten knocked down an Indian in the quarterfinals of the French Open tennis tournament By Sriram Balaji Narayanaswamy and Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner.

The Heliövaara–Patten duo defeated Balaji and Demoliner directly in two sets, 6–3, 6–4.

The semi-final lasted a total of one hour and 19 minutes.

It is the first time that Heliövaara and Patten advance in their careers to the semifinals of the French Open doubles.

The duo’s semi-final opponent will be determined later on Wednesday. On Thursday, they will face either the Dutch Sander Arends and David Pel or the French Quentin Halys and Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
