Hansa Rostock parts ways with coach Schwartz: only 8 points since the beginning of September

After 27 games

FC Hansa Rostock is parting ways with coach Alois Schwartz after less than a year. Transfermarkt can confirm information from the “Bild” newspaper. On Wednesday afternoon, the trainer of the relegation-threatened second division team said goodbye to the team. The FCH has not yet officially announced the move. On Friday (6:30 p.m./Sky) the “Kogge” will meet SC Paderborn, then youth boss Uwe Speidel will be on the sidelines on an interim basis.

Schwartz only came to Hansa at the end of March 2023 and has since looked after the team in 27 games. After staying in the league in the previous season, there has been no success in the current season. In the last three games, the Mecklenburg team only got one point, and in the last twelve, since the beginning of September after a positive start to the season, only eight. Rostock had recently lost 2-0 against FC Schalke 04 and had slipped into the relegation zone.
