Hannover 96 is apparently facing a transfer coup. As the Bild newspaper reports, coach Thomas Schaaf’s club has signed former Bundesliga star Hugo Almeida (31). The long-time Portuguese international had previously worked with Schaaf at Werder Bremen between 2006 and 2010 and scored 41 goals in 117 Bundesliga games.
