After the farewell to Hannover 96, Muroya (31) returns to his homeland Japan to FC Tokyo. The right-back signed in the table-16. The J1 League a two -year contract. Muroya came to FC Tokyo from Meiji University in 2016 and had celebrated his professional debut for the capital club. Until his switch to the 96s in the summer of 2020, Muroya posted 133 missions (five goals) for FC Tokyo.

“I have returned to where I belong. It is an honor to wear the blue-red jersey again and to be able to play with the wonderful fans and supporters here in Tokyo. I will fight with the belief that I can be a large part of the story of Tokyos,” said Muroya. In the current squad of FC Tokyo, only four players have more missions for the club.
