In the 2nd round of the German Cup, Stefan Leitl’s team Hannover 96 faced Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund, the guest team under the management of Edin Terzic, won 2-0 in the match played at the Heinz von Heiden Arena. It came from Bright Arrey-Mbi’s own net kick in the 11th minute and from Jude Bellingham’s penalty in the 71st minute. Karim Adeyemi, who was included in the game in the 68th minute in Borussia Dortmund, was out of the game with a red card in the 85th minute. National football player Salih Özcan, who played in Borussia Dortmund, stayed on the field for 90 minutes.
With this result, Hannover 96 said goodbye to the cup in the 2nd round, while Borussia Dortmund advanced to the 3rd round. Dortmund defeated 1860 Munich 3-0 away in the 1st round of the cup.
