Handball talent Pipy Wolfs leaves VOC Amsterdam and moves to Spain

Pipy Wolfs is working on her last weeks at VOC Amsterdam. The youth international opts for the step abroad and will play for the Spanish Elche.

Wolfs came over from DSVD from Deurningen in Overijssel in 2020. Since her arrival at VOC, 20-year-old Wolfs made a big impression as a circle player. After Kim Molenaar, Wolfs is the second major talent to leave the club from Amsterdam-North. The 19-year-old Molenaar will play for the Danish København Håndbold next season.

Goodbye

In addition to Molenaar and Wolfs, Michelle Goos also says goodbye to the reigning national champion. The 32-year-old Goos has indicated that he will stop playing handball after this season. The trio is still in the battle for the national championship with VOC. Last Saturday, the Amsterdam formation lost the first game in the play-offs against Venlo with 23-24† This Saturday the second game in the best-of-three series will be in Venlo.

Last weekend NH Sport was present at the first play-off match between VOC and Venlo and made the summary below.
