SC Magdeburg has shown a strong performance in Romania and has developed a good starting position for the second leg against Dinamo Bucharest. Especially in half one, the Elbestädter shone with their defensive and used the numerous technical errors of the hosts.
SC Magdeburg has shown itself concentrated in the play-off first leg against Dinamo Bucharest and achieved a victory at any time with 30:26 (16:11). However, the Wiegert team has to put up with the accusation that the lead for the second leg could have been larger.
Bucharest overwhelmed
Dinamo Bucharest, who received fourth in Group B with Magdeburg, was overwhelmed by the SCM defensive from the start. Only goalkeeper Ionut Ianco showed shape in half one champions League, while the Romanian attack its teeth on the attentive Elbe Defensive.

Reverse game takes place in Dessau
