Despite a good performance at TBV Lemgo Lippe, the Bergische HC has to wait for the first win of the season.

The promoted BHC lost to the TBV on Thursday evening with 25:28 (14:13) and conceded the sixth defeat in the sixth game. While the BHC stays with 0: 12 points and a goal difference of -43 at the end of the table, Lemgo pushed in fourth place with 9: 3 points.

Lemgos Tim Suton and disturbed shone with nine goals each, at the BHC Scholtes was the best shooter with eight goals.

The final minutes decide – BHC loses game against Lemgo

The BHC met the East Westphalia from the start at eye level and took the lead for the first time through Elias Scholtes (6th) (4: 3). None of the two teams could initially break away, but at 7: 7, the Bergische laid a 3-0 run after gates from Sören Steinhaus and Lars Mitchell Kooij (2) and led 10: 7 (21st).

Lemgo worked up again and equalized in the 26th minute through Niels Gerardus to 12:12, but thanks to a hit by Scholtes a few seconds before the end of the first half, the BHC took a 14:13 lead into the break.

Even in the second half, the BHC did not subside and provided the hosts an intensive duel. But in the final minutes, Lemgo was the more efficient team and the BHC had too many misses. In the 57th minute, Joël Wilecke scored at 27:25, in the 59th minute.
