Hallhuber trademark rights and domains were auctioned

On February 22nd, the trademark rights and 28 domains of the insolvent Hallhuber GmbH were sold at public auction. The starting price for the Hallhuber and Donna Hallhuber trademark rights was 500,000 euros and for the domains 14,000 euros. The auction took place at the headquarters of Deutsche Pfandverehrung Ostermayer & Dr. Gold takes place in Dietramszell, as well as online and via telephone. According to the textile industry, the trademark rights found a buyer for 1.25 million euros. The domains were then sold for 230,000 euros. Who concluded the deals is still unknown.

Since the beginning of February it has been clear that there can no longer be a happy ending for the previous Hallhuber GmbH. Until recently, industry insiders had hoped for a restructuring and continuation, but no investor could be found.

Hallhuber GmbH had to file for bankruptcy in May 2023 after the company had completed insolvency proceedings just two years earlier. The shops and online store have been closed since the end of October 2023.

In January 2024, the founder of Hallhuber, Klaus Hallhuber, died at the age of 76.
