The scandalous decisions that changed the course of the game made yesterday by Halil Umut Meler, whose name is mentioned in all the chaos in our football and who is persistently assigned to Beşiktaş’s critical matches, are serious mistakes that eliminate the trust in the justice of football.
Not conducting a VAR review of Cenk Tosun’s penalty position in the derby, turning the decision into a red card with the hawkish eyes of the VAR, which was blind to Omar Colley’s position during the week, and turning a blind eye to the systematic slowing down of the game, which has become familiar in Turkish football, but will never be used.
