The Swedish outdoor outfitter Haglöfs AB has appointed a new person responsible for its sales structure in Austria.

Martin Eberl has been responsible for the Austrian market since the middle of the month, Haglöfs announced on Monday. He is co-owner of the Kitz-Sportive trading agency and has many years of experience in sports retail. With his expertise and market knowledge, he will further expand Haglöfs’ presence in Austria.

With Eberl we have gained an experienced partner for the Austrian market, says Carina von Schrottenberg, Head of Sales Central & Western Europe at Haglöfs. “With his industry knowledge and his local presence, we can further expand our position in Austria and provide our specialist retail partners with even better support.”

In addition to Eberl, Haglöfs has appointed a new sales boss for Bavaria, Max Hagl. He was previously responsible for the northern German region and is now taking over in his new role for Lisa Wendl, who will be leaving the company in December.
