Director Tuukka Temonen will visit Aki Linnanahde on Talk Show And in the podcast, stories from his career and his wife Olga Temonen’s well -being.
Aki Linnanahde and Tuukka Temonen also discuss the 2013 Selänne movie at the podcast, which they worked together. Linnanahde served as an assistant producer of the film, Temonen as a photographer.
In the episode, Temonen tells how Teemu Selänne and hockey were not very big or meaningful to him. However, one thing made the concept change.
Temonen tells about the caretaker of the Selänne, who, among other things, transported them and went with the family.
“He had a completely nonsense respect for Teemu and he really wanted to do his best for Teemu,” Temonen says of the discussions with the nurse.
It was this that made Temose impressed.
– For me, hockey and Teemu Selänen have never really been … I knew that milk boy and that’s it. But through this attorney, I realized that he is a person admired by many.

Temonen says he thought that he could sometimes be a similar person in his life. He also says that after a few years he found a similar person in his life.
The special atmosphere of the first day of the Selänne movie has left a memory of both Linnanahti and Temose.
-We set off by a minivan. At some point, I realize that there is a little strange atmosphere here. After a long winter, the backs come to Finland, there are grandparents there, related to the site. There’s a bit of a strange atmosphere, Linnanahde describes.
The duo remembers the podcast amused by the situation where the cause of the special atmosphere became clear.
– It became clear to us afterwards that Teemu hadn’t told anyone, not even to his wife and children, that I would make a movie, Linnanahde reveals.
Apparently, the information was told to the family shortly before the Selänne flight landed at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. For the movie, the shooting team was present from the moment the Selänne and his family saw their relatives for a long time.
Nevertheless, according to Linnanahti, the descriptions went smoothly.
