The Hollands Spoor station in The Hague is being restored to its former glory. The meter -high iconic platform caps, which have been offering shelter since the end of the 19th century, get their original appearance back. “We do everything we can to bring the grandeur of the past back to life,” says project manager Roald Benschop from the platform at Spoor 1.
