“This is a very short period of time, and you have to try to catch this gap in order to get a positive PCR, until the phagocytic cells gobble up this virus. At the same time, the virus must be in some very concentrated state, ”he said.

In October last year, the Ministry of Health approved the use of the nasal form of the vaccine, which is the second component of Sputnik V, for volunteers during the second phase of trials of the new form of the drug. The research will last until December 2023, and 500 volunteers will take part in it.
As Gunzburg pointed out, the COVID-19 nasal vaccine has no side effects. According to him, the vaccine in the form of a nasal spray cannot replace an injectable vaccine, it was created only for additional protection of the body.
