German firefighters have adopted KamAZ

Firefighters from Arendsee in northern Germany use a Russian KamAZ to put out a fire. According to the mayor of the city, Norman Klebe, a Russian fire engine is no worse than a German one, but only costs 100 thousand euros less. That is, the difference in price is more than 8 million rubles.

Firefighters Arendsee saved three years to buy a Russian KamAZ with a 320-horsepower engine. In addition to the price, they were bribed by decent quality and simple operation, according to the media platform “Watching”… In addition, the car has a 10-year guarantee against corrosion of the fire superstructure for 270 thousand euros.

The new fire engine has proven itself well in fires: in 3 minutes it is capable of throwing up to 6 thousand liters on the fire. However, at the Russian KamAZ AC-3240 still found German roots. But it is not used by the car plant in Naberezhnye Chelny “Mercedes” cab K5, but just fire equipment, produced in conjunction with the Austrian company Rosenbauer.
