Guns N’ Roses play unreleased song in soundcheck

Guns N’ Roses have been teasing music on and off for the last few years. Two singles were released in 2021, “Absurd” and “hard school“, 2022 at least the super deluxe edition of “Use Your Illusion I and II”. Now, on Monday, June 5th, short videos have been released showing the band rehearsing the previously unreleased song “Perhaps”. Guns N’ Roses are playing a concert in Tel Aviv on Monday (June 12).

The track was leaked online back in 2019, along with other demos from Guns N’ Roses’ “Chinese Democracy” era. The studio version of “Perhaps” is rumored to feature Brian May on guitar. The setlist of the current world tour contains something new and surprising. The band performed “Bad Obsession” and “Pretty Tied Up” from Use Your Illusion, as well as “Anything Goes” from “Appetite for Destruction” for the first time in over 30 years. Also “Absurd” and “Hard Skool” can be found on the setlist. A performance of unreleased songs, such as “Perhaps”, is therefore conceivable.

In October 2022, Slash told radio host Eddie Trunk that he was planning a new Guns N’ Roses record “sooner rather than later.” The band has new songs, some of them epic, up their sleeves, which is why the 57-year-old is excited.
