Maria Cristina Lomanto takes on the role of President EMEA, confirmed a spokesman at the request of fashionunited. The specialist magazine WWD had previously reported. As Chief Merchandising Officer, Costa takes over the previous area of ​​responsibility from Lomanto, which has been active for Gucci as a brand since 2022. This position has now been canceled.

In her new role, Lomanto reports directly to Chief Commercial Officer Cayetano Fabry. She has more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry and was active for luxury brands like Jil Sander, Yves Saint Laurent and Miu Miu.

Costa was also active for Miu Miu in the past, but brands such as Stella McCartney and Bottega Veneta and the fashion retailer Blondie Shop.

But there is also a new management in North and South America. Christophe Marque has been responsible for the region as President and CEO Americas since April.
