Guardiola convinced of fourth championship in a row

A defiant Pep Guardiola has predicted a fourth consecutive football championship for Manchester City.

“My feeling tells me that if you ask me, we will win the Premier League again. If we reach the level of Liverpool and Tottenham, then we cannot be beaten,” said the ex-Bayern coach.

Last Sunday the Citizens couldn’t get past a 3-3 draw at home against Tottenham Hotspur. In the table, the gap in third place to leaders Arsenal FC is three points. On Wednesday the Citizens play at Aston Villa (9.15 p.m.).

The Spaniard is not bothered by the fact that his team has currently lost its way to success in the championship after three draws: “After three draws, people don’t believe it, but we will do it again. I know it won’t be easy because there isn’t one yet team did it.”

His team simply has to do better than last time, said Guardiola: “Where I come from, I’ve learned that you have to be better than your opponent in order to win. We have to get a lot better, we can’t have any chances or concede goals allow.”
