Growth money for Innosend from Groningen. Startup wants to make sending packages easier for web shops

The Groningen provider of shipping software for online stores, Innosend, has raised an investment of 600,000 euros. The startup wants to make sending packages easier for online shops, so that they can focus on growing their business.

With the first capital injection, the company can scale up by expanding its software offering. The platform allows webshop owners to automate processes, for example by scanning packing slips for printing labels and setting up rules for the selection of the delivery service, in order to save time and costs.

Multiple services

In addition to the shipping software, Innosend develops several services to support online stores. For example, your own returns portal and a track-and-trace system with which updates can be sent in your own corporate identity. The company also offers full fulfillment as a service. Customers hereby outsource the storage and shipping of products to Innosend.

The investment is led by Royal Rotra, the logistics service provider for worldwide sea and air freight. Other investors are G-Force Capital and Harold Huizing, former commercial director of Trust.

Innosend was founded in 2020 by Liu Kars and Virgil Swagemakers. Since its inception, more than one million packages have been sent via the platform.
